Flower Sprouts (Kalettes) in the Air Fryer

on

If you like kale and Brussels sprouts, you’re gonna LOVE flower sprouts! We discovered Flower Sprouts only this year at our local farmers’ market. They’re almost too pretty to eat.

After some research, I came across this link all about Kalettes and their origin – they were developed in the UK in 2010 by people who wanted a new twist on kale, without the hard stalk, and who happened to work for a seed company. They’re only available from November to March, and I didn’t see them at our farmers’ market this past week.  But that’s OK, as eating seasonally is so important. And guess what’s just around the corner…asparagus!

Let me know if you’ve seen these where you live.
